In order to increase the significance and value of advertising as a means of promoting sales as part of
marketing during the development of corporate management, contributing to the improvement of life
through purchasing, and consuming wise products and contributing to economic development and
social and cultural development, profound and comprehensive theoretical research should
be actively pursued. However, there were many organizations related to advertising
in Korea, but there was no advertising society for the link between advertising scholars
and advertising practitioners. However, although Korea had a number of
organizations relevant to advertising, an advertising society in which
advertising professionals could bond and collaborate had never been
existed. With the rising need for an advertising society and
awareness for its significant vacancy, a number of scholars and
specialists relevant to advertisement came to establish KAS at last.
This society contributes to the development of advertising in Korea
through promoting fraternity among its members via research and publishing of advertisements, theories and those in practice.
The Society shall carry out the following business in order to achieve the prescribed purpose.
